It's great when you go to an art fair, marvel at someone else's talent and share with each other. I use photos for reference for my paintings. Granted, I do get around, and have been fortunate enough to gather a lot of fantastic images of my own. However, this past weekend I met a professional photographer who has been able to capture the images I could only wish for. We only chatted for a moment, but she has graciously allowed me to use her images for my pastels.This chickadee is my pastel interpretation of her photograph. Thank you, EJ!
